OSI-Baltimore
OSI-Baltimore worked across issues affecting opportunity, health, justice, and community life. The foundation needed to connect its work and its grantees with residents, partners, decision-makers, and supporters through many different campaigns and communications needs.
Hatcher served as OSI-Baltimore’s communications partner from 2003 through its closure in 2023. Within that wider agency relationship, our creative team translated complex issues into accessible materials and experiences. The website organized programs and grants; reports made the work visible; campaign assets supported community participation; and anniversary materials helped tell the foundation’s legacy.
My creative direction supported a broad relationship with the foundation, spanning website design, impact reports, publications, community campaigns, and events. The work needed to give distinct initiatives their own voice while maintaining a clear connection to OSI-Baltimore’s purpose.
Creative Director. I guided the creative work alongside Hatcher’s account, project management, UX, and design team.

The Approach
Develop communications around the task, whether finding a grant, understanding an issue, attending an event, or taking part in a campaign.
Pair clear information architecture with editorial design and human-centered storytelling. Publications and digital content gave the foundation’s work context and visibility.
Extend creative support into campaigns such as Baltimore Votes, working with the wider communications and digital team to reach people across channels.
Anniversary and farewell materials brought impact, community voices, and institutional history together in a coordinated event experience.
